This St. Pete Beach maternity session was a solo shoot that truly celebrated the beauty of motherhood. From the peaceful garden to the ocean’s edge, it was an hour filled with reflection, joy, and some absolutely stunning light.
As a St. Pete Beach maternity photographer, I love when moms-to-be take the time to celebrate this season for themselves. Whether you’re booking solo or bringing your partner along, these photos become part of your story—something to look back on and say, “This was me, right before everything changed.”
For this mama, this was her first maternity session and her first baby on the way. Taking this time for herself, before the baby arrives, was such a meaningful milestone—and I was so honored to be there to document it.
As golden hour approached, we made our way down to the shoreline just in time for one of those signature St. Pete sunsets. The sky lit up in pinks, oranges, and soft purples, and the reflections off the water added such a dreamy glow to every shot.
This session was a full hour, giving us time to relax, explore a few different looks, and create images that truly reflected who she is in this season of life—strong, radiant, and ready to meet her baby.
We captured soft, elegant poses in the garden and more candid, joyful moments along the beach—wind in her hair, toes in the sand, and a gentle hand on her growing belly. These are the photos she’ll show her child one day, saying “This was you, with me, before we even met.”
